Why Learn English with la Academia?

Many local businesses send their overseas staff to us to learn English skills, or ask us to run EFL classes in-house for them. We also teach English to individuals who are living in the UK, but whose native language is not English. By taking English classes our students are able to lead a fuller life as part of their local community.

Helping overseas employees to settle quickly when they are on placement in the UK is vital and la Academia has particular experience in providing English lessons for professional footballers. Given the need for confidentiality with these particular students, we provide one-to-one EFL tuition. However for many of our students EFL evening classes with a group of others learning English is both cost-effective and fun.

Through focused training sessions – both for groups and individuals – our teachers can provide you with the skills you need to speak English confidently, while also helping you to settle in quickly and become a successful and productive member of a team, business or community.

We’ll also give you the opportunity to practise your English in as many different situations as possible. We’re great believers that not all learning happens in a classroom – the most effective learning is when you’re able to apply your skills in real-life situations. But don’t worry if you think this means you’ll be left on your own to practise the language – we’ll be there to guide you each step of the way.
